We are not responsible for personal accidents that occur while on the farm property.  By entering onto the farm property, you are assuming liability and responsibility for the safety of yourself and those accompanying you, including minors.  It is also assumed that those entering the property are carriers of their own health insurance policies.

Please be aware that Dollinger Family Farm is a working farm.  Machinery and tractors are unlike cars and cannot stop quickly.  We expect your cooperation in keeping safely away from all machinery.

Play areas are expected to be supervised by parents or guardians.  Dollinger Family Farm is designed for a play together experience with your children.  Memories are made by spending time with your young ones.  Good judgment on the part of all supervisory adults helps make these great memories a reality.  Train Ride:  Children under 1 year old are free with paying adult.  Children 5 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Well behaved dogs on a leash are welcome at the farm.  We expect you to clean up after Your animal and keep it under control at all times.  We reserve the right to ask you to leave should your animal become disruptive. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Farm animals are great fun to watch and observe, but they are not pets.  They are animals and may be unpredictable.  We do not allow the feeding of the animals as their diet is well controlled to keep them safe and healthy.  We recommend using the hand-sanitizing stations in the animal areas and always recommend washing hands after visiting our animals.

For the safety of everyone, smoking (including E-Cigs and Vaping) is highly prohibited everywhere on the farm.

Limited basic first aid is available upon request.  It should not replace professional medical care.  Personal medical devices such as Inhalers and Epi-Pens are recommended to be on persons (including field trips) at all times, as there can be environmental triggers on the farm.  All incidents will be documented on an incident report, but is NOT intended as any type of agreement between parties.  Dollinger Family Farm reserves the right to contact additional professional medical services, such as 911, as determined necessary.

If a weather warning is initiated, please know that there is not a safety shelter available to all guests at one time.  Pole buildings, as well as shops and sheds on the farm, are not tornado safe.  Guests will be advised to seek shelter elsewhere.  Dollinger Family Farm reserves the right to close the farm due to inclement weather.  Check our Facebook page for updates.

Yes.  Handicapped Parking is provided at the west entrance to the farm.  Handicap Accessible porta-potties are available.  There are some asphalts paths and some gravel paths.  We are a working farm and do our best to give everyone the best possible experience on Dollinger Family Farm.

Our parking lot doubles as a hay field.  It can be damp at times or uneven.  Please follow signs as we occasionally have to rope off some areas of the parking lot so they can dry.

While parents and guardians are responsible for children at Dollinger Family Farm, we have found that adults occasionally get separated from their children.  Please instruct children to look for one of the Dollinger Family Farm Employees in a bright orange shirt The employees are in communication with all parts of the farm and are trained to help track down those parents.  Teachers are expected to have an initial and final child count before arrival and departure. We appreciate your cooperation.

Dollinger Family Farm is not responsible for lost or stolen items, but we do collect any items handed in by friendly patrons at the Milk House Gift Shop.   We keep all items through the end of November.  You may contact us by phone (815-467-4698) or email.

Traditions are important!  Please preserve those happy faces and magic moments by snapping photos of family members.  Please be polite and remember that photos including other guests should not be made public (including social media) without their permission.  Photography by Cathy is our official photographer of the farm.  Please visit our photography page to schedule a sitting.  If you are a professional photographer and would like to take photos at our farm, there is a $100 fee and a form that must to be completed.  Please email us at dollingerfamilyfarm@gmail to request the form and make the payment.
